Global Project Offering 2021
Since 2007, Calvary has had a history of giving ourselves, our energies, and our resources to empower and assist our neighbors and friends in Haiti. We partner with organizations who stand with the residents, know and live in the communities, and can offer tangible and beautiful assistance when needed.
One17 International launched in 2011 with the mission of building and operating a school for the left behind in places of urgent physical and spiritual need. We see hope through education for the left behind. One17 seeks to fundraise to build 3 classrooms onto their original school building and administrative space for their growing leadership team. They also seek to have funds to scholarship 25 students for the upcoming school year. The new classroom building will allow enrolling 20 new kindergarten students and 5-10 older students on an annual basis. God has blessed One17 to impact local students with Christian education, indigenous staff with stable employment and fair wages, and families in their community with a hope-filled academically thriving environment for their children.
Mission Haiti Medical
Mission Haiti Medical exists to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through a healthcare alliance with the people of Haiti. MHM seeks to empower the indigenous medical personnel to treat patients, and to provide an opportunity for the patients to be treated at a subsidized, more affordable cost. The hospital opened as an outpatient clinic in 2005 and continued to expand services until January 2018, when the facility started providing 24/7 care. Haiti has been devastated with political and social unrest, which has crippled the economy and the economic possibilities of the individual Haitian, who often was already in a state of fiscal instability. The fiscal challenges in these uncertain times have exponentially increased, therefore an assistance fund for the patients unable to pay for care is desperately needed. MHM’s goal is to provide better health for today and hope for tomorrow through Jesus Christ. The physical touch, the morning prayers with patients, and the assistance of others makes the face of Christ more visible.
Multiplication Network Ministries
Multiplication Network Ministries has been in existence since 2000, fueled by faithful volunteers. In 2007, MNM was formerly incorporated as a non-profit organization. Through strategic partnerships, MNM has expanded its training in a growth that continues today. At present, there are well over 6,000 church planters in training who are establishing new communities of faith in more than 40 countries. Their mission is to equip church leaders with the tools and resources to strengthen and multiply healthy churches. The funds they are requesting from Calvary will be used to mobilize the leadership team in the Caribbean to train and equip Haitian leaders to plant healthy churches. A healthy church is the most effective place for the broken and helpless in Haiti to find the help they need in spirit, soul, and body. MNM believes church planters and gospel centered leaders can bring lasting transformation to their communities.
