THE WHOLE OF OUR LIVES
“Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker” (Psalm 95:6)
We believe humans are always worshipping– the question of worship is not if or when we’re worshipping, but what or whom. God graciously calls people back to the worship of Himself through Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit.
At Calvary, we find it helpful to think of our worship gatherings as a relational conversation between God and His people– all are welcome, all the time. God speaks. We respond.
This conversation follows the beautiful pattern of the Gospel– starting with God’s glory, confessing the gravity of human sin, celebrating the grandeur of God’s grace, and responding to God sending us into the world (Isaiah 6)
What a powerful, life changing event– to regularly gather together, to both remind others and be reminded of God’s work in the past, present, and future. And to hear God’s invitation to join in, for the sake of the world– the Good News that saves, also sends!
